Capacitive 3-axis Force Sensing Technology
Sep. 29, 2026Taiwan Alpha has achieved initial results in the development of capacitive 3-axis force sensing technology, capable of simultaneously detecting vertical force (Fz) and horizontal shear force (Fx, Fy), further expanding the integration possibilities of force sensing technology across different applications.

Technology Highlights
Through a multi-channel differential algorithm, the technology can simultaneously capture Fx, Fy and Fz force signals, enabling real-time dynamic tracking and slip detection.
Current Development Progress
Algorithm & GUI: Dynamic force distribution visualization and real-time Fx, Fy and Fz waveform monitoring have been completed.
Hardware Prototype: Mechanical module development is in progress.
